We are seeking eight skilled forklift operators to join our team and assist with material handling within a rapidly expanding distribution center. This role involves training on specialized forklifts to support the center's growth and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move and handle materials within the distribution center.
• Ensure the safe and efficient use of forklifts to transport products.
• Participate in training on specific forklift models used within the facility.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Essential Skills

• Proven forklift experience with a minimum of 2 years.
• Previous certification in forklift operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Recent hands-on experience with forklift operations.
• Ability to adapt to advanced technology and automated systems within the warehouse.

The distribution center is a large, state-of-the-art facility with a clean and well-lit environment. Forklift operators will work on shifts, with options including Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday from 4 pm to 12:30 am. The center is equipped with advanced technology, providing a modern workplace for all employees.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, NY. The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
