Work Environment

As a physical therapist at Prime Fitness Rehab Center, you will operate in a professional, collaborative setting focused entirely on patient care. This full-time, onsite role involves visiting patients in their homes, facilitating a personalized therapeutic experience that cannot be replicated in a traditional clinical environment. Our focus on home care allows us to meet patients in a comfortable setting that encourages healing and rehabilitation. Your weekly schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations to assess needs and create individualized rehabilitation plans, incorporating patient history and specific functional goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques tailored to each patient's unique condition and progress.
• Closely monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, adapting treatment plans as necessary in response to their evolving needs and challenges.
• Educate patients and their families on effective movement mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and the importance of adhering to their rehabilitation programs.
• Document patient care and treatment plans in compliance with professional standards and clinic protocols, ensuring accurate records for continuity of care.
• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to deliver comprehensive care that meets the patient's needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient focus will include a diverse population, ranging from post-surgery recovery clients to individuals managing chronic pain and mobility issues. You will work with patients of various ages and backgrounds, requiring adaptability and a holistic approach to treatment. The home care setting allows you to assess real-world challenges faced by patients, enabling more effective rehabilitation plans that can be implemented in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active or eligible Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• A strong ability to collaborate in a dynamic clinical environment, fostering communication among team members and patients alike.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of professional experience as a physical therapist, with a focus on outpatient rehabilitation or home care services.

Compensation and Benefits
