Research Analyst

Seeking an Analyst that will conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence on investment managers, funds and strategies, providing research and analysis to support investment decisions. Responsibilities Conduct in-depth due diligence on prospective and existing investment managers, funds and strategies. Evaluate investment strategy, performance, risk, portfolio construction, liquidity, fees and other key investment considerations. Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment opportunities. Review fund materials, manager reporting, financial information and other due diligence documentation. Participate in due diligence calls and meetings with investment managers and industry professionals. Research investment managers, strategies, markets and relevant industry developments. Identify and assess changes in performance, personnel, strategy, risk or other factors affecting existing investments. Prepare due diligence reports, investment memos and recommendations for senior investment professionals. Develop materials for investment committee and internal review meetings. Perform peer, benchmark and performance analysis. Maintain research files, investment data and ongoing manager monitoring. Support ad hoc investment and market research projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline preferred. 2+ years of experience in investment research, due diligence, investment management or financial services. Exposure to alternative investments, private markets, hedge funds or investment funds strongly preferred. Strong quantitative, analytical and research capabilities. Ability to evaluate complex information and identify key investment risks and considerations. Strong written communication skills with experience preparing research or analytical materials. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. CFA, CAIA or progress toward a relevant designation is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
