Contract | Night Shifts | Variable shift start times available (7p–7a and other night options) | Weekend rotation every third weekend | Rotating holidays | Self-scheduling (schedule subject to finalization)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 27-bed Emergency Room setting serving patients of all ages
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including aides, EMTs, and paramedics on each shift
• Perform nursing assessments, interventions, and documentation in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Coordinate with phlebotomy for lab draws as needed
• Successfully complete a required open-book skills exam during orientation with a minimum passing score of 90%

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility (including CHI or Dignity) are not eligible
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; compliance is required
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract will be approved, and additional RTO requests will not be considered after submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior emergency room nursing experience
• Experience caring for patients across all age groups, including pediatric populations
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
