Senior Director – Funds Fitch Ratings’ Funds & Asset Management group is currently seeking a Senior Director. Fitch Ratings’ Funds & Asset Management group is a global team responsible for fund ratings analysis, methodology and model development, and publication of research on analytical and regulatory developments affecting the asset management sector. The group analyzes and publishes research on fund finance (subscription facilities, NAV loans, CFOs, and rated feeders), leveraged closed end funds (CEFs), money market funds (MMFs), bonds funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs), local government investment pools (LGIPs), and asset managers. What We Offer The individual who fills this position will help oversee the group’s coverage across all of its segments in NA, EMEA and APAC A flexible work environment with the ability to work remotely for up to two days per week Opportunity to develop analytical and leadership capabilities in a growing sector Challenging and rewarding work within a collaborative environment We’ll Count On You To Set strategic direction for the team and drive execution of key initiatives, including development of new rating methodologies, models, operational infrastructure, and research Lead, mentor, and develop team members, and support the group’s continued growth Build and maintain senior relationships with investors, bankers, and fund managers; represent Fitch at industry events and webinars Evaluate complex transactions involving funds and structured products, integrating quantitative modelling, qualitative analysis, and legal documentation review Lead due diligence meetings with fund managers and lenders Produce research on trends and developments across covered sectors Chair rating committees and provide analytical guidance What You Need To Have Solid experience in credit analysis, with exposure to funds or structured finance a plus Proven experience managing teams and delivering multi-stakeholder complex projects Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Sound academic track record to at least first university degree level, preferably in finance, economics, statistics, accounting, or computer science What Would Make You Stand Out Experience with fund finance, including subscription facilities or NAV loans; or structured finance or lending Demonstrated track record of initiative and achievement Experience managing teams through significant growth and change Why Fitch? FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY:

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $215,000 and $235,000. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
