Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients’ mental health and substance use history, identifying presenting issues and treatment goals.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ specific needs and recovery objectives.

• Maintain a thorough documentation system of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate effectively with fellow clinicians and support staff to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes for clients.

• Engage in regular supervision and continuing education activities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with industry best practices.

• Provide clients with practical coping strategies, resources, and referrals to reinforce their commitment to recovery.

• Actively participate in case conferences and team meetings to contribute insights and collaborate on client management.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The successful candidate will work with a diverse clientele comprised of individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use disorders. Our clients range from adolescents to adults, each seeking support for their unique challenges. Qualifications\n

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory; a Master's degree is preferred.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong preference for experience in detoxification or substance use disorder treatment.

Experience working in a fast-paced detox center or similar mental health setting is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
