Perform procedures aspermitted by state regulations and APP specialty Collaborate withphysicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care Document patient careaccurately and thoroughly Skills: Strong clinicalknowledge and assessment skills Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients Proficiency inperforming physical examinations and procedures relevant totheir specialty Critical thinking andproblem-solving skills to diagnose and manage complex medical conditions Time management skillsto efficiently manage a patient workload Ability to workindependently while also collaborating effectively with ahealthcare team Requirements Education: Master of Science inNursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty (e.g., familypractice, adult-gerontology, pediatrics) Master of Science inPhysician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accreditedprogram Licenses &Certifications: Active and unencumberedadvanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Washington National certificationas an NP in a relevant specialty area by a recognized certifyingbody (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners[AANP]) Active and unencumberedphysician assistant (PA) license in Washington National certificationfrom the National Commission on Certification of PhysicianAssistants (NCCPA) Experience: While specificrequirements may vary, most locum APP positions prefercandidates with at least one year of experience in a clinicalsetting relevant to their specialty Travel: If you residegreater than 50 miles from the facility you areeligible for travel benefits.
