Sterile Processing Technician

The role of the Sterile Processing Technician is to perform technical duties necessary for the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of supplies and equipment. This must be done according to established protocols, policies, procedures, and central sterile standards for all patient populations. The technician will work within a team environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. Prioritization skills and effective communication are required. Critical thinking and basic computer skills are necessary for the role. The technician will also complete quarterly competencies.
