About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting and Finance to join their executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be a key player in providing financial guidance and strategic input to the overall management of the company. This role is pivotal in overseeing all accounting practices, directing financial strategy, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. The VP will also be responsible for studying and reporting on financial trends, opportunities for expansion, and the projection of future company growth. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills are essential, as is the ability to lead and develop a team. Applicants for the Vice President of Accounting and Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. A CPA certification is highly desirable. The role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success, and a strong understanding of GAAP. Experience in the construction industry is also highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with complex data to provide meaningful analysis.
