Financial Operations Support

Position starts on-site, but team requires 3 days in office per week once training is complete BACHELOR'S REQUIRED. The FX Confirmations Operations Team acts as an intermediary between the MS Institutional Securities FX/EM Sales Desk and the clients we serve. The team is responsible for the support of trade confirmation within the FX trade lifecycle. In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. Some of your day to day responsibilities would include:

• Execute processes/functions that allow for the correct documentation and execution of trade details
• Recognize risk in day-to-day processes in order to effectively mitigate with appropriate controls
• Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output
• Learn and demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the processes, projects, systems, markets and instruments that influence the team
• Analyze and expose ambiguous or complex issues, identify root causes and propose future actions
• Build and manage relationships on a day to day level with Business Unit partners, other *** infrastructure departments, and external contact points in Client organizations
