D'Juan's New Orleans Bistro is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven General Manager to lead all aspects of restaurant operations. As the senior on-site leader, the General Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, developing high-performing teams, driving financial results, and fostering a culture rooted in accountability, hospitality, and operational excellence.

Position Summary

The General Manager provides strategic and day-to-day leadership for all restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, bar, guest experience, financial performance, and employee development. This position is accountable for achieving operational goals while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hospitality, cleanliness, and team engagement.

The General Manager partners closely with the Regional General Manager, executive leadership, and support teams to ensure D'Juan's consistently delivers exceptional results.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive restaurant management experience, including at least three (3) years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
• Proven leadership experience managing multiple department managers and large restaurant teams
• Strong understanding of restaurant financial statements, budgeting, labor management, food cost, beverage cost, and inventory control
• Demonstrated success in developing leaders and building high-performing teams
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, coaching, and retaining employees
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong guest recovery and conflict-resolution abilities
• Proficiency with restaurant POS and scheduling systems
• Food Safety Manager Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Alcohol service certification where required
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Primary Responsibilities
Operational Leadership

• Direct all daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional execution.
• Maintain the highest standards of hospitality, food quality, cleanliness, and service.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, health regulations, and safety standards.
• Maintain restaurant readiness and operational excellence during every shift.

Financial Performance

• Achieve sales, profitability, labor, and controllable expense goals.
• Monitor and manage labor costs, food cost, beverage cost, and operating expenses.
• Analyze financial reports and implement action plans to improve performance.
• Drive revenue through exceptional guest experiences, local marketing, and operational excellence.

Leadership & Talent Development

• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop restaurant managers and hourly team members.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning.
• Build a culture of accountability, respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Develop future leaders through mentoring and succession planning.

Guest Experience

• Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality.
• Ensure every guest receives prompt, friendly, and personalized service.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
• Maintain consistently high guest satisfaction scores and online reputation.

Team Culture
