Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked global law firm seeking a 4th to 5th year Capital Markets Managing Associate to join its San Francisco, California office. This is a transaction focused role for an attorney who enjoys advising on fast moving public securities offerings and supporting clients through complex execution, disclosure, and coordination workstreams. The team sits within a broad corporate platform with an international footprint and a collaborative, partner led approach. The San Francisco office offers regular access to senior lawyers and opportunities to work closely with clients, bankers, and internal specialist teams. The Opportunity You will advise on equity and debt capital markets transactions, with an emphasis on public offerings and related securities law and disclosure matters. The work includes drafting and negotiating transaction documents, coordinating diligence and verification, and managing process and deliverables across multiple workstreams and stakeholders. Ideal Candidate Profile The firm is seeking a 4th to 5th year Capital Markets Managing Associate with: 4 to 5 years of experience in equity and or debt capital markets Active California Bar membership in good standing Major or peer law firm experience at the appropriate level Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills A motivated, entrepreneurial outlook, strong interpersonal skills, and comfort working in office five days per week Why This Opportunity Stands Out This role offers consistent exposure to sophisticated capital markets matters within a well resourced platform, along with meaningful responsibility and direct partner interaction.
