Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for coordinating and processing various aspects of the on-campus employment processes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and prior experience in human resources. Preferred Qualifications : Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook). Exceptional analytical skills, communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines is required. Strong organizational, computer and communication skills (oral and written). Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines. Demonstrated customer service skills are necessary. Ability to resolve issues and make sound business decisions. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinates and executes the recruitment activities from job posting to hire/pre-boarding for assigned areas. Guides hiring officials and search teams on recruitment processes and best practices in employment. Offers hiring officials’ guidance on potential recruitment strategies to yield viable applicant pools.
• Facilitates criminal background checks and pre-employment drug testing for assigned team. Reconciles vendor invoices.
• Collaborates with HR Service Center, as necessary. Supports Talent Acquisition Consultant & EEO Liaison, as needed.
• Facilitates recruitment status reports, metrics and cost-of-hire analyses. Stays abreast of employment laws and trends. Responsible for requesting services from temporary agencies, when needed.
• Processes volunteers and affiliates

Human Resources Coordinator (AG07/61122884/ FTE -S01179P), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Grade: GEN08 . Salary range: $45,300.00 (midpoint) – $61,100.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
