About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to serve as its senior administrative and organizational effectiveness leader. The CAO will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of functions, including human resources, workforce strategy, facilities management, enterprise compliance, risk management, governance, contract administration, procurement, and policy administration. This executive role involves strategic execution, organizational leadership, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance. The successful candidate will partner with the CEO and C-Suite to implement strategic priorities, lead change management initiatives, and ensure the organization's administrative functions are aligned with its mission and goals. Candidates for the CAO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree or advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in organizational administration, operations, human resources, compliance, or executive management. The role requires a proven track record in leading strategic plan implementation, organizational effectiveness initiatives, and enterprise-wide change management. Strong knowledge of governance, compliance, and risk management is essential, as is the ability to develop and maintain systems for identifying and mitigating organizational risks. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, and a commitment to ethical leadership and mission-focused decision-making. Experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization and knowledge of grant-funded programs are also highly valued.
