Inventory Control Specialist III - Supply Chain

Inventory Control Specialist III will manage inventory operations and develop control procedures at a life-science company. The role involves analyzing data trends, coordinating cycle counts, and recommending improvements to enhance accuracy and reduce costs across supply chain functions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices across operations
- Coordinate cycle count programs and analyze data to identify trends and discrepancies
- Provide strategic recommendations to optimize inventory levels and reduce operational costs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Analyze complex data sets and deliver actionable insights for inventory management decisions
Requirements
- Advanced degree plus 3 years inventory control experience, or bachelor's degree plus 5 years related supply chain experience in GMP environment
- APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) or equivalent inventory management certification preferred
- Proficiency with ERP systems, inventory management software, and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated attention to detail
- Experience coordinating cycle count programs and reconciling inventory discrepancies
- Knowledge of inventory control principles, continuous improvement initiatives, and lean methodologies
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally; fluent English required
Compensation: $70,800–$106,200 base, plus variable annual bonus eligibility
