What You'll Do

• Conduct remote and in-home safety and risk assessments for child maltreatment cases
• Support the safety planning process for children and families
• Document investigation activities thoroughly and accurately
• Prepare reports and provide recommendations to support case decisions
• Collaborate with law enforcement, legal professionals, and social service teams
• Monitor safety plans and follow up on case progress
• Maintain compliance with all agency policies and procedures

What You Need
Required:

• Valid license or certification in social work or related field
• Experience in child welfare, investigations, or case management preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive cases with professionalism

Preferred:

• Prior experience working within Indiana child welfare systems
• Familiarity with child maltreatment investigation protocols
• Effective interpersonal skills and cultural competency
