Accountant – Financial Reporting Location: Sanford, FL Salary: $70,000–$75,000 Why This Opportunity Stands Out: Make an immediate impact: this role is critical to supporting a fast‑growing organization Massive growth story: company has more than doubled in size in the past 2.5 years High visibility + access to leadership: work directly with the Financial Operations Manager, Director of Finance, and CFO Career growth potential: clear path to expand into financial reporting, FP&A, and leadership responsibilities Own a major project: lead fixed asset cleanup and process improvements in the first 6 months Dynamic, non-siloed team: collaborate across departments and influence systems/process modernization Stable + attractive benefits: 100% employer‑paid healthcare & Florida State Pension Strong team culture: collaborative, low micromanagement, promotes internally Key Responsibilities: Lead fixed asset management and cleanup efforts, ensuring accurate tracking, capitalization, and reporting Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and month‑end close activities Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis, identifying and resolving discrepancies Support financial reporting, dashboards, and audit preparation Analyze and reconcile revenue streams and operational data Partner cross‑functionally to improve processes, enhance systems, and drive efficiencies Assist with accounts payable, sales tax filings, and regulatory reporting as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience Strong background in general accounting + reconciliations Fixed assets experience strongly preferred ERP experience (Business Central a plus) Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑changing, growth‑oriented environment Ideal Candidate Profile: Rolls with change and enjoys building/improving processes Naturally curious and investigative: digs into the “why” behind numbers Comfortable with ownership and ambiguity Collaborative and proactive: not reliant on micromanagement
