Responsibilities
- Perform short, multi-step organic synthesis and chemical diversification to generate novel small molecule libraries
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and optimize experiments
- Analyze experimental data and maintain detailed laboratory records
- Participate in lab meetings and present research findings
Requirements
- Currently enrolled graduate student pursuing Master's or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, or related field
- Completed at least two years toward Ph.D. or equivalent degree by June 2027
- Available for full-time work approximately six months beginning mid-2027
- Self-motivated and creative with strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Hands-on exposure to mammalian cell culture and standard molecular biology techniques preferred
- Understanding of biology concepts and chemical applications to biological systems
