Position Overview

We are seeking a highly autonomous, systems-fluent, and compliance-proficient Product Manager - Supplements (internally operating as the Product Lead) to assume absolute end-to-end operational ownership over our expanding multi-market product portfolio under a permanent, full-time remote layout based inside the United States. In this high-agency logistics and project leadership seat, you will act as the single accountable owner for each Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) the absolute moment its chemical formulation is locked. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated administrative transcription entry logs, basic website styling edits, or generic social copy writing, you will run an active global regulatory compliance, structural packaging layout, third-party laboratory stabilization testing, and post-market safety surveillance laboratory. Partnering directly beside distributed formulation scientists, supply chain networks, quality control specialists, and corporate legal cells, you will transform raw ingredients into commercially successful, globally compliant retail assets. This position requires a product operations authority with 6–10+ years of history inside the nutritional supplement or functional CPG spaces who handles physical item lifecycles fluidly natively using Project Management and change control primitives, demonstrates deep understanding of manufacturing cost margins, and excels inside fast-growing, founder-led startup ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End SKU Lifecycle Governance: Drive, supervise, and coordinate the operational lifecycle of every product post-formulation, ensuring all offerings remain commercially successful and viable natively utilizing Project Management guidelines.
• International Regulatory Market Entry: Orchestrate comprehensive, multi-country regulatory evaluation and approval filings across the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
• Packaging & Artwork Instrumentation: Direct the design verification, print layout control, and typographical accuracy of package dielines, structural text components, and localization variants.
• Technical Certification Maintenance: Pursue, audit, and safeguard high-stakes product verifications from major third-party bodies (encompassing NSF Certification, FODMAP Friendly listings, and Glyphosate Free testing parameters).
• Laboratory Testing Coordination: Manage intensive analytical validation tracks—collaborating with external laboratories to direct structural stability testing, verified shelf-life tracking, and continuous batch safety diagnostics.
• Label Claims & Change Control Triage: Formulate and substantiate text-label legal claims, executing meticulous change control documentation whenever upstream raw ingredient sourcing matrix points shift.
• Post-Market Safety Surveillance: Author, monitor, and streamline safety response protocols—encompassing customer complaint trending, adverse event reporting registries, and total operational recall readiness matrices.
• Scientific Content Synchronization: Coordinate comprehensive medical and literature reviews, providing verified background summaries to support distributed Brand Marketing, Customer Experience, and Research cells.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 6–10+ years of proven, successful progressive professional history operating as a Product Manager, CPG Operations Director, Technical Project Manager, Brand Supply Specialist, or closely matching tech-enabled physical asset management capacity.
• Expert Functional CPG & Supplement Command: Documented track record driving item pipelines end-to-end within the supplement, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or functional health food sectors , with deep familiarity managing post-launch change controls.
• Demonstrated experience successfully supervising matrixed networks of external professionals—including formulators, contract labs, regulatory consultants, and print firms.
• Strong quantitative logic with a robust, practical understanding of physical manufacturing cost configurations, gross margin formulas, and factory operational constraints.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and textual communication strengths in English, with an established history handling intense timelines and presenting risk parameters cleanly to founding teams.
• Location Context: Position operates under remote guidelines open exclusively to qualified wellness platform and CPG product operations authorities residing permanently within the United States .
