Forklift Operator
Abacus Staffing is currently hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a fast-paced warehouse environment. Candidates must be able to safely operate at least three of the following four pieces of equipment:
- Reach Truck
- Dock Stocker / Stand-Up Forklift
- Sit-Down Forklift
- Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)
Pay Rates
- 1st Shift: $19.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: $20.00/hour
- Weekend Shifts: $20.00/hour
Available Shifts
Monday - Thursday
- 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Weekend Shifts (Friday - Sunday)
- 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
- 9:00 PM - 9:00 AM
Job Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials
- Pick and replenish inventory in rack storage locations
- Perform equipment inspections before and after each shift
- Accurately complete warehouse and inventory transactions
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- Must be able to operate at least three of the following: Reach Truck, Dock Stocker/Stand-Up, Sit-Down Forklift, and EPJ
- Previous forklift experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Ability to work overtime as needed
