Account Manager – Civilian Markets LexisNexis Risk Solutions is the essential partner in the assessment of risk. Within our Government vertical, our solutions assist government agencies and law enforcement to drive insights from complex data sets, improving operation efficiency, increasing program integrity, discovering and recovering revenue, and making timely and informed decisions to enhance investigations. Responsibilities Initiating and answering inbound and/or outbound sales contact directly from/to prospective and/or existing customers. Accepting orders, closing sales, maintaining customer records, and completing required documentation. Identifying and qualifying prospective customers and recording sales prospecting activity in Salesforce. Developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts within assigned agencies or geographic territories. Maintaining a thorough understanding of government procurement procedures and guidelines to ensure that the organization's sales initiatives are fully compliant. Regularly reviewing pipeline opportunities and providing updates in Salesforce. Work towards an individual sales quota; may have a target earnings bonus or sales incentive opportunity. Working with moderately complex territory/assigned accounts, products/services, sales, or account management processes. Informing customers of new product/service introductions and prices. Following up on leads with a sense of urgency and provide timely updates to Salesforce. Maintaining a general understanding and knowledge of our solutions. Conducting regular onsite and virtual appointments with strategic executives and business partners. Continuing to build knowledge of business, financials, products/services, the market, or account needs. Maintaining communication with the Sales Director and other internal stakeholders. Attending industry conferences and events and representing the company as required. Qualifications Strong and consistent performance at meeting or exceeding sales objections and quotas. Minimum 2+ years of account manager experience. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate via all available channels. Professional demeanor and strong work ethic. Detail oriented, demonstrated strong organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to multitask and respond effectively to changing priorities and/or situations. Self‑motivation and ability to work independently. Proficient in Salesforce and other internal operational systems. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. Compensation & Benefits U.S. National Base Pay Range: $42,600 – $70,800. Total Target Cash Range: $65,600 – $109,000. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
