Competitive salary up to $160,000 based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career advancement Join a dynamic team at the forefront of embedded system technology Contribute to projects across diverse industries including aerospace, defense, medical instrumentation, industrial control, robotics, telecommunications, and semiconductor manufacturing What youll be doing: Research, design, and develop embedded computer systems software in conjunction with hardware product development Improve software quality as delegated by management Gather and analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints Consult with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate the interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of the overall system Develop software requirements specifications, test procedures, and other documentation Develop software that meets or exceeds product software requirements Develop and coordinate software release process and installation procedures Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages Experience working with DOS and writing Linux shell scripts Experience in developing software specifically for AMI (American Megatrends Inc.) BIOS systems Background in BIOS development or customization projects Familiarity with low-level programming concepts relevant to BIOS development Experience with hardware abstraction layers (HAL) in BIOS development Proficiency in BIOS configuration and setup utilities Experience collaborating with hardware engineers or firmware developers Preferred Qualifications Background in defense/aerospace industries Does this sound like something you want to be part of?
