Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Santa Clarita, our facility offers a welcoming and well-equipped environment for both therapists and patients. Your daily schedule will typically run from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. The outpatient office is designed to facilitate collaboration among healthcare professionals, with advanced rehabilitation tools and exercise equipment available to support effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the goals and needs of individual patients through comprehensive evaluations and diagnostic techniques.
• Manage a focused patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring quality engagement and effective communication.
• Deliver expert care in orthopedic rehabilitation, offering cost-effective treatment options aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques, ensuring that each program aligns with the patient's specific rehabilitation goals.
• Focus on promoting non-surgical alternatives where possible, minimizing reliance on medications while maximizing functional outcomes.
• Instruct and motivate patients through therapeutic exercises, fostering engagement and improving their physical abilities.
• Monitor and document patient progress diligently, utilizing electronic medical records systems such as WebPT to ensure compliance and consistency in care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care, contributing to a seamless recovery experience.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies and healthy lifestyle choices to enhance long-term wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will focus primarily on orthopedic patients, providing care for individuals recovering from surgery or managing chronic pain conditions. You will work closely with diverse patient demographics, including athletes, seniors, and everyday individuals seeking to improve their physical capabilities. The ability to adapt your approach based on patient needs will be critical to your success in this role.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Possess a valid California PT license with no disciplinary actions or board actions against it.
• Demonstrate strong manual therapy skills and a thorough understanding of orthopedic principles.
• Show proficiency in developing effective exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.
• Experience and comfort in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a dedication to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Demonstrable success in rehabilitating a diverse range of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Prior experience in customizing fitness and wellness programs is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $125,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
