Corporate Accountant

Location & Work Environment The role is fully onsite in Winter Park, Florida, and works closely with accounting leadership and internal teams across multiple functions. Key Responsibilities The role supports various aspects of general accounting, operational accounting, and month‑end close activities within the construction environment. Responsibilities include journal entries, account reconciliations, general ledger analysis, accounts payable and receivable support, cash receipt postings, fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules, 1099 processing, tangible tax filings, intercompany reconciliations, and overall accounting administration. Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of accounting and general ledger experience High school diploma or GED required Prior experience within construction, service-based, or operational environments preferred Experience supporting month‑end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger activities Strong attention to detail and overall accounting accuracy Comfortable working within fast‑paced operational environments with shifting priorities Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills Experience working within ERP/accounting systems required; preferred systems include Vista by Viewpoint, Sage 300 CRE, Foundation, CMiC, Jonas, Procore, or similar construction accounting systems Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 required Ability to work collaboratively across accounting and operational teams Strong professionalism, adaptability, and overall ability to operate effectively within a collaborative team environment Benefits & Compensation Target compensation range of approximately $70,000 to $80,000, depending on experience and fit Bonus potential based on company and individual performance Strong retirement and long‑term stability offerings, including a 401(k) with company match Comprehensive benefits package including PTO, medical, dental, and vision coverage Long‑term stability within a well‑established organization Steadfast Executive Search LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
