The Greer Group has a great direct hire opportunity in the Bowling Green, OH area for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic! This role is with a well-established and growing manufacturing organization that is a leading producer of PET beverage bottles and preforms, supporting major beverage brands across the East Coast and Midwest. Position Summary: The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for equipment setup, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of blow molding and/or injection systems, as well as other plant equipment. This role partners closely with production teams to ensure safe, efficient operations that meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform equipment setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and repairs Conduct preventative maintenance on production equipment Ensure equipment is operating safely and meeting quality standards Respond to maintenance calls in a timely and professional manner Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues Perform building maintenance and support facility systems as needed Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on forklifts and related equipment Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints Repair and rebuild machine parts as needed Complete required testing and documentation Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards Participate in training and continuous improvement efforts Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required (trade school preferred) Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience Experience with injection molding or similar manufacturing processes preferred Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment independently Experience using CMMS or work order systems preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off 401(k) with Company Match Short- and Long-Term Disability Company-Paid Life Insurance Schedule: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, 2 days on, 2 days off Why Apply: Stable, growing company with long-term career opportunities Hands-on role with a strong team environment Competitive benefits and consistent schedule
