This individual will oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house operations while maintaining the quality, consistency, and service standards that align with the Safe Harbor brand. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader and hospitality professional with balanced expertise in restaurant operations, culinary management, team development, and financial performance. They possess strong culinary acumen, an understanding of kitchen management principles, and the ability to create exceptional dining experiences for Members and guests. This individual will demonstrate outstanding leadership skills, a strong work ethic, business acumen, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Schedule 8-12 Hour Shifts which may include days, nights, weekends and holidays. *Hours may vary with seasonality, if manager must fill in for his/her employees, special events are scheduled, or if emergencies arise (typical work week is 45-50 hours). Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the Pool Bar and upstairs dining restaurant. Manage all business aspects of the restaurant including but not limited to budget management, food costing and purchasing, and inventory management. Ensure consistent service from the bar and kitchen throughout the week. Complete all daily reporting, deposits, and bank runs for restaurant cash. Complete all monthly and End of Month reporting for the restaurant. Collaborate with culinary staff to maintain food quality, consistency, recipe adherence, and kitchen efficiency. Hire and train staff; motivate and inspire excellence in your team. Work with Hospitality Coordinator to staff and execute all on-site Member events that involve the restaurant staff. Serve as the manager on duty during Friday dinner service, special events, and other peak business periods to ensure operational excellence and member satisfaction. Develop and maintain menus that balance creativity, member preferences, seasonality, and profitability while effectively managing food and liquor, beer, and wine (LBW) costs. Continuously set and meet goals to ensure guest and staff satisfaction as well as financial success of establishment. Create an atmosphere that allows Members and guests to feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed. Ensure the highest levels of quality and consistency in food preparation, presentation and service, while ensuring health and safety protocols are adhered to. Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS office, POS, excel, word, POS software, and restaurant inventory system). Oversee Toast POS software, menu building and updating, and ensuring the software is meeting the reporting needs of the restaurant. Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Technical and Physical Requirements Minimum 3-5 years of restaurant management experience required. Private club, country club, luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining experience strongly preferred. Experience overseeing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations required. Strong culinary knowledge with the ability to collaborate effectively with Executive Chefs and culinary teams on menu development, food quality standards, kitchen execution, and cost control. Demonstrated understanding of kitchen workflow, food safety, inventory management, purchasing, and labor management. Proven track record of leadership, staff development, operational excellence, and financial performance. Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and scheduling software. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as business needs require. Current food safety and sanitation certifications required. Knowledge of Toast POS software highly preferred. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, reach. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
