Opportunity Overview

Our organization is looking to recruit a board-eligible or board-certified physician in Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine to enhance our clinical team in Sacramento, CA.

We are a nonprofit health plan dedicated to serving adults aged 55 and older in Sacramento County. Our multidisciplinary team, which includes physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, drivers, and aides, collaborates to deliver comprehensive care that supports independence.

The Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) offers high-quality, integrated home and community-based healthcare services, proactively addressing potential issues to minimize hospitalizations and delay the need for nursing home placement.

The PACE Physician will play a crucial role in providing medical oversight and clinical leadership for elderly patients enrolled in our program in Sacramento. This role merges clinical knowledge with empathy to ensure exceptional patient care, adherence to regulations, community engagement, and efficient departmental operations.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with active board certification in Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.

• Valid medical license and eligibility to practice in California.

• Demonstrated experience as a physician specializing in geriatric care.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Strong dedication to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.

• Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and healthcare guidelines.

• Capability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
