Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications in Playa Vista, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors while reporting observations and responding to routine concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts. Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership, and help support a professional environment. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
