National Sales Performance Leader

PRMI is seeking an accomplished mortgage sales leader to elevate Loan Originator performance across our national retail organization.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who understands what drives exceptional mortgage production and knows how to turn that knowledge into scalable systems, stronger sales behaviors, and measurable results. The National Sales Performance Leader will combine hands-on coaching, performance strategy, training, analytics, and technology to help Loan Originators at every level increase their effectiveness, conversion, and production.

This is not a traditional training or motivational role. We are looking for a credible mortgage sales professional who can challenge experienced producers, inspire action, build practical performance systems, and create lasting behavior change.

What You’ll Own

Build a National Sales Performance System

• Establish the core activities, behaviors, and performance standards that drive sustainable mortgage production.
• Translate production goals into measurable activity, opportunity, conversion, and funded-loan expectations.
• Develop practical scorecards, coaching rhythms, and accountability systems.
• Use sales, pipeline, activity, and conversion data to identify performance gaps and opportunities.

Coach and Elevate Loan Originator Performance

• Coach Loan Originators on referral-partner development, prospecting, database engagement, lead response, follow-up, conversion, business planning, and market influence.
• Create differentiated coaching strategies for developing, established, and top-producing Loan Originators.
• Conduct direct, constructive accountability conversations that build ownership and improve execution.
• Identify successful behaviors and make proven practices repeatable across the organization.

Build a Premier Sales Development Academy

• Design and lead a structured mortgage sales development program combining in-person instruction, virtual coaching, practice, and accountability.
• Develop high-quality sales playbooks, workshops, scripts, exercises, challenges, scorecards, and digital learning content.
• Measure engagement, behavior change, conversion improvement, and production growth.
• Continuously refine the program based on participant results and field feedback.

Strengthen Sales Leadership

• Equip Branch Managers and sales leaders to become stronger coaches.
• Provide practical tools for performance conversations, pipeline reviews, business planning, and improvement plans.
• Build a scalable coaching culture that extends through field leadership.

Shape Sales Technology

• Serve as a key business partner to Product and Technology, translating field needs into practical sales solutions.
• Help shape CRM workflows, automated follow-up, sales scorecards, performance insights, and other technology that reinforces effective sales behaviors.
• Participate in pilots, gather field feedback, and drive meaningful adoption of sales technology.

Lead Cross-Functional Execution

• Partner across Retail leadership, Training, Marketing, Operations, Product, Technology, Secondary Marketing, Compliance, Recruiting, and HR to turn strategy into effective field execution.

• Increased Loan Originator productivity and funded production
• Stronger prospecting, referral-partner, database, and follow-up activity
• Improved lead-to-application, application-to-close, and pull-through conversion
• Growth in qualified opportunities, applications, preapprovals, and active pipeline
• Demonstrated production improvement among developing and established producers
• Increased coaching effectiveness among Branch Managers
• Strong participation and measurable results from the Sales Development Academy
• Increased adoption and effective use of sales technology

What You Bring

• 7+ years of mortgage origination, mortgage sales leadership, or mortgage sales coaching experience.
• Proven success as a producing mortgage Loan Originator and/or leader of mortgage sales professionals.
• Deep understanding of purchase and referral-based mortgage business development.
• Demonstrated ability to coach individuals or teams to measurable improvements in production, productivity, or conversion.
• Experience designing and delivering structured sales training across individual, small-group, virtual, and large-group environments.
• Strong command of sales metrics, pipelines, conversion ratios, activity data, and performance segmentation.
• Experience building practical scorecards, accountability systems, business plans, scripts, and coaching tools.
• Strong executive presence and the credibility to challenge experienced sales professionals while maintaining trust.
• Ability to influence and lead across a geographically dispersed organization.
• Working knowledge of mortgage CRM platforms, loan origination systems, sales dashboards, marketing automation, and modern sales technology.
• Ability to partner effectively with Product and Technology teams to translate sales needs into practical solutions.
