The Branding & Outreach Coordinator is a crucial part of the organization's mission fulfillment efforts by strengthening public awareness, communicating impact, and ensuring consistent and professional representation of the Summit Future Foundation brand.
Branding & Outreach Coordinator Role:
The Branding & Outreach Coordinator works alongside the Executive Director and organizational leadership team to lead the planning, development, and implementation of branding, marketing, and outreach activities. This role supports organizational visibility, program engagement, fund development, community partnerships, and special events through coordinated digital, print, website, and in-person outreach efforts.
Branding & Outreach Coordinator Responsibilities:
The Branding & Outreach Coordinator will maintain responsibilities in the areas of brand management, digital communications, website administration, event marketing, content development, and community outreach. Effective organization, communication, creativity, time management, and project leadership are essential. The position is expected to anticipate marketing needs, independently manage established timelines, and communicate proactively about project status, risks, and recommendations.

Branding & Outreach Coordinator Responsibilities to Brand Management
Maintain and Advance the Summit Future Foundation Brand
Maintain consistent use of organizational logos, fonts, colors, messaging, imagery, and accessibility standards across digital and print materials.
Develop and maintain brand templates, graphic libraries, presentation formats, and reusable communication assets.
Review public-facing materials for brand consistency, accuracy, professionalism, and alignment with organizational values.
Organize and maintain editable design files, final assets, photographs, videos, and other intellectual property in shared organizational systems.
Recommend updates to brand standards and outreach practices as organizational needs evolve.
Develop Organizational Marketing Materials
Design and produce flyers, brochures, reports, presentations, recruitment materials, program schedules, success stories, sponsor recognition, donor communications, and community education materials.
Create accessible graphics and layouts for digital and print distribution.
Coordinate printing specifications, proof review, and production timelines with approved vendors when needed.
Ensure final deliverables are accurate, complete, and ready for use with minimal revision.
Branding & Outreach Coordinator Responsibilities to Digital Communications
Plan and Manage Social Media Communications
Develop and maintain an annual marketing calendar and monthly social media content plans aligned with programs, events, recruitment, advocacy, and fund development priorities.
Create, schedule, and publish approved social media content through Meta Business Suite and other organizational platforms.
Develop a consistent mix of program highlights, participant success stories, staff recognition, employment inclusion, community education, fundraising, and event promotion content.
Monitor engagement and respond to or route public inquiries in accordance with organizational procedures.
Provide monthly reporting on reach, engagement, audience growth, campaign performance, and recommended next steps.
Develop Email and Digital Outreach Campaigns
Create branded email campaigns, newsletters, event announcements, registration reminders, donor updates, and post-event communications.
Coordinate messaging schedules and campaign assets with the Executive Director, Fund Development Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, and program leadership.
Maintain current distribution lists and support integration of approved platforms such as Constant Contact and DonorView.
Proof all communications for accuracy, links, dates, accessibility, and audience relevance before dissemination.
Branding & Outreach Coordinator Responsibilities to Website Management
Maintain Accurate and Engaging Website Content
Maintain and update the organization's Squarespace website, including program information, schedules, staff information, events, news, sponsor recognition, and registration links.
Create and maintain event landing pages, including registration, ticketing, sponsorship information, event details, maps, attire, itineraries, and sponsor recognition.
Coordinate approved integrations with DonorView, Squarespace forms, and other registration or fundraising systems.
Monitor website functionality, accessibility, broken links, outdated information, and basic analytics.
Complete routine website updates independently and communicate promptly when outside technical support is required.
Branding & Outreach Coordinator Responsibilities to Special Events
Lead Event Marketing and Deliverable Coordination
Lead the branding and marketing deliverables for major organizational events, including:

Develop comprehensive event marketing calendars identifying each asset, responsible party, approval deadline, publication date, and production deadline.
Create event themes, sponsorship materials, promotional graphics, sponsor recognition, ticket and registration campaigns, presentation decks, programs, signage, activity materials, and post-event communications.
Attend special event planning meetings and proactively identify upcoming marketing needs and potential timeline risks.
Build adequate time into schedules for review and for an organized revision cycle before final production.
Provide day-of event support related to signage, presentations, sponsor recognition, photography, social content, and other assigned communications needs.
Branding & Outreach Coordinator Responsibilities to Community Outreach
Support Digital and In-Person Outreach Efforts
Collaborate with program leaders to develop outreach campaigns that accurately communicate program eligibility, schedules, outcomes, registration opportunities, and participant experiences.
Develop presentation slides, speaking notes, handouts, displays, and other materials needed for networking, conferences, resource fairs, school partnerships, and stakeholder presentations.
Attend selected community events as a representative of the organization and provide day-of outreach support.
Capture photographs and short-form video content, when appropriate and authorized, to strengthen organizational storytelling.
Identify opportunities to expand organizational visibility, partnerships, referrals, and community engagement.
Support Fund Development and Stakeholder Communications
At the direction of the Executive Director, support fundraising, donor stewardship, sponsorship, and capital campaign communications.
Create sponsor recognition assets and ensure benefits are delivered according to established sponsorship commitments.
Develop donor impact communications, annual reports, campaign updates, presentation materials, and other stakeholder reporting assets.
Coordinate with the Fund Development Coordinator to ensure marketing and fundraising timelines remain aligned.
Project Management and Organizational Leadership
Manage Marketing Workflows and Deadlines
Manage multiple projects simultaneously through a shared content and deliverables calendar.
Independently track due dates, approvals, dependencies, and final production requirements.
Provide consistent visibility into work in progress without requiring repeated reminders from organizational leadership.
Anticipate upcoming campaigns and bring forward ideas, recommendations, and draft plans before needs become urgent.
Flag delays or barriers early and present a proposed solution or revised timeline for approval.
Attend leadership, marketing, event planning, or other internal meetings when participation will support brand awareness or timely project completion.
Performance Indicators
Marketing and event deliverables are completed on or before established deadlines.
Public-facing materials demonstrate consistent branding, accuracy, accessibility, and professional quality.
Projects require limited corrective revision because information and design standards are verified before submission.
Website and social media channels remain current and aligned with organizational priorities.
Leadership receives proactive communication regarding status, risks, and recommendations.

Qualifications
This role requires a creative and organized marketing professional who demonstrates initiative, accountability, and the ability to independently lead multiple communication projects. The ideal candidate will balance graphic design and content creation with strategic planning, project management, and interdepartmental collaboration. Experience with nonprofit, disability services, community outreach, fundraising, or mission-driven communications is strongly preferred.
Classification
The Branding & Outreach Coordinator is a part-time, non-exempt administrative position anticipated to work approximately 20-25 hours per week. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and works closely with the Fund Development Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, program leadership team, event committees, and approved vendors. Some evening or weekend availability may be required for special events and community outreach activities.

Compensation & Benefits
Part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week

Annual salary of $25,000.00

Other Requirements
Minimum education of bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, public relations, or a related field preferred
At least two years of relevant marketing, communications, design, or outreach experience preferred
Authorized to work in the United States
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with current auto insurance and registration
Ability to provide a clearance letter from the Family Care Safety Registry and pass a criminal background check
Absence of a history of abuse or neglect involving a person in a vulnerable population
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events or outreach activities
Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certification within the timeframe established by the organization
