Day/Time: Two (2) sections available: (1) Mondays and Wednesdays, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.; (2) Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Modality: In-person College: College of Humanities, Arts, Behavior and Social Sciences Department: Political Science Position: Lecturer Semester: Fall 2026 Course Description The principles of the U.S. Constitution, and a survey of political institutions and processes that developed under it, including the legislature, the executive, the courts, state and local government, federalism, and civil liberties. Minimum Qualifications A master's degree in political science Per the California State University’s Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment. Preferred Qualifications A doctorate in Political Science Experience teaching in higher education in area of instruction Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate intercultural competence and a commitment to serving our campus community as it relates to teaching and, as applicable, service.
