Instructional Assistant

Job Title:
Instructional Assistant Pay Range: Based on experience. Job Description: At CNCA, we have students who receive Behavioral Intervention Implementation (BII) services through their IEPs and participate in our after-school programs at both Camino Nuevo Sandra Cisneros Campus (Camino Nuevo #4) and Kayne Siart TK-8 Campus (Camino Nuevo #2). To support these students' participation in after-school enrichment activities, CNCA Expanded learning team contracts with outside agencies to provide Special Education Instructional Assistants as additional adult support. Because BII services are designated for the regular instructional day, we are NOT seeking BII providers for our after-school programs. Instead, we are looking for Instructional Assistants who are available to work Monday through Friday during after-school hours to provide positive behavioral support and help ensure students can successfully participate in enrichment activities such as sports, arts, and other programs. These positions are solely for after-school enrichment programming. Instructional Assistants would not be responsible for tracking IEP service minutes or completing BII-related documentation.
The hours for after-school program are typically as follows:
Work Schedule: Mon, Tues, Wed, and Friday 3:00 - 6:00 pm Thursdays 12:30 - 6:00 pm or Minimum Days
