About The Role As a member of G2’s Legal Team, you will have the opportunity to join an exciting team, complete a variety of projects, and participate in professional development events. You’ll work closely with an Intern Mentor who will support you throughout the Program. As a member of the Legal team you’ll work on a variety of legal projects including: Assisting the legal department with creating, editing, and managing legal agreements, documents, and contracts. Assisting with company-wide legal matters, documents and strategy. Working with the legal team as needed on any ongoing projects or pertinent tasks. In This Role, You Will: Conducting legal research on various topics, including artificial intelligence and intellectual property. Assisting in drafting and reviewing legal documents. Maintaining and updating various trackers, including ongoing litigation, pending legislation, and internal contracts. Assisting in the preparation of presentations, memos, articles, and reports for internal and external use. Providing general administrative support to the legal department. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree + Pursuing Juris Doctorate Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited law school and in good academic standing. This internship is open to 1Ls, 2Ls and 3Ls. Research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Proficiency with Google Drive The internship will be in person in our Chicago office with the potential to shift to a hybrid work model based on performance.
