Innovative CPA firm in need of a Non-Profit Audit Supervisor and an Audit Senior specializing in Non-Profit organizations - Immediate career advancement - Work-life balance - Mix of remote and office workThe Supervisor serves as the intermediary between the Firm's Partner, clients, and staff. Supervisors oversee multiple audit and accounting projects and client engagements concurrently, including managing schedules, staffing, and coordinating workflow. They also mentor and develop staff members, establish business connections for the Firm, and play a central role in client relations.ResponsibilitiesOversee all phases of audit and review engagements on multiple projects simultaneouslyMaintain regular communication with clients, possessing a deep understanding of their businesses and control systems, while fostering strong client relationshipsKeep engagement Director or Partner informed of key client account developments, identifying and resolving potential issuesDemonstrate proficiency in technical skills, adherence to professional standards, and client advisory capabilitiesCreate, manage, and adhere to project budgets; investigate and address budget overruns, seeking change order opportunitiesAnticipate engagement challenges and proactively address questions that may ariseReview financial statements and other client deliverablesSupervise and provide guidance to senior accountants and staff accountantsParticipate in staff performance evaluations and contribute to business development effortsQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Accounting or related bachelor's degreeAt least five years of public accounting experience, specifically auditing non-profit clientsActive CPA licensePreferred Qualifications:Ability to lead teams and collaborate effectivelyDemonstrated prioritization skills and a track record of meeting deadlinesIn-depth knowledge of accounting standards and principlesResponsive to feedback and skilled in training and directing staff membersWork EnvironmentHybrid work setting (remote, office, client sites)Same-day travel may be required for client visits, meetings, and eventsPossible out-of-town travel with overnight stays for client engagements, meetings, or eventsFirst Name(Required)Last Name(Required)Email(Required)PhoneResumeResume(Required)Max. file size: 100 MB.MessageDo you agree to receive text messages from Gables Search Group sent from View phone number on click.appcast.io & View phone number on click.appcast.io?
