Tuttle Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our team in Colorado Springs.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled dental assistant (EDDA) who is confident with restorative procedures, comfortable working directly with the doctor, and ready to contribute in a modern, patient-focused dental practice. We are looking for someone who is dependable, clinically strong, detail-oriented, and able to keep the day moving without losing the personal touch patients expect.

This is not an entry-level assisting role. We need someone who can step in with confidence and help support high-quality care from start to finish.

Pay and Schedule

• $26–$30 per hour , based on experience

• Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• Thursday: 7:30AM - 5:00 PM

• Friday: 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Place anterior fillings

• Place posterior fillings on all surfaces

• Seat temporary crowns

• Seat permanent crowns

• Deliver clear aligners

• Assist the doctor during dental procedures

• Prepare and break down operatories

• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards

• Post procedures accurately

• Take clear, complete clinical notes

• Support patient comfort before, during, and after treatment

• Help the clinical team stay organized and on schedule

• Communicate clearly with the doctor, team members, and patients

What We’re Looking For

• Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) experience required

• Comfortable placing anterior and posterior restorations

• Comfortable seating temporary and permanent crowns

• Experience with clear aligners preferred

• Strong chairside assisting skills

• Strong understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments

• Accurate clinical documentation skills

• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

• Calm, professional patient communication

• Ability to work well in a busy clinical environment
