Seize the opportunity to make a significant impact in educational settings by providing speech-language therapy services for students in a collaborative and supportive school environment. Two rewarding contract assignments are now available, focusing on vital maternity leave coverage near Pomona, CA and Glendora, CA. These roles offer you a chance to bring your expertise and passion for pediatrics, clinical fellowship, and teletherapy to children who need it most.
Openings include:
- PreK Speech-Language position: Begins the third week of November and continues through April 23, with the possibility to extend through the end of the academic year. Enjoy a consistent schedule, working 7 hours per day, 5 days per week.
- Moderate/Severe K-8 Position: Starts the second week of December and runs through the end of the school year, also 7 hours per day across five days each week.
Key qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Valid California SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience in school-based settings, pediatric care, or healthcare environments is highly valued
- Teletherapy skills and familiarity with virtual service delivery models
- Enthusiasm for working with PreK and/or moderate/severe K-8 student populations
Role responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in-person and/or via teletherapy
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all local and state guidelines
