Weekend Front Desk Representative

G-Force Gymnastics Academy is looking for a professional and outgoing applicant with a customer service mindset to join our team. Our busy gymnastics center is kept running smoothly by our front desk staff that handles everything from class enrollment to pro-shop inventory.

Being the first face of the business that our customers see, a professional attitude and outgoing personality is a must. This part time position is for weekends only. Friday hours are negotiable but Saturday and Sunday are required for this position. There are additional evening hours available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the summer.

Candidate Requirements

*Must be 18years or older with a High school diploma or GED *Must have reliable transportation *Must have some experience in a customer service field *Must be able to operate basic office equipment *Must understand basic computer and word processing functions *Must be available Saturday 8:30AM - 4:45PM and Sunday 9:30AM - 3:45PM

Basic Job Duties Include

*Answering phones and checking messages *Assisting with enrollments and questions about our program *Attending to customers and athletes at the desk *Addressing any customer service issues appropriately *Handling transactions for purchases and special events *Keeping the front office and lobby areas clean *Occasional Opening or Closing of the facility

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compensation is $12.00 - $13.25/hour.

We have 2 full size Competitive Floors, over 12 Balance Beams, 16 Bar Stations, 3 Vaulting Tables, a Tumbl Trak, a Rod Floor and a Huge Foam Pit along with many training aids and a large variety of mats ensuring creativity and diversity in every practice! Our littlest gymnasts get their very own private gym - our Preschool Room!! In here they can learn safely on equipment that was built just for their little hands and tiny bodies! Complete with 3 bars, several balance beams, plenty of floor space, and a mini-sized trampoline! It is the mission of G-Force Gymnastics to help children grow and develop in a positive manner through the art and sport of gymnastics. At G-Force Gymnastics we believe: * Every child is unique and deserves the individual attention necessary to inspire them to reach their full potential * We can instill a sense of confidence, self-worth and success through positive reinforcement * Proper form and technique helps children progress through a variety of skills in order to keep them engaged and motivated * Learning in a fun and safe environment is essential to the gymnastics experience COACHING POSITIONS: * Preschool coaches must love working with toddlers ages 18 mons to 5 years! Patience and class management skills are a must! Previous childcare or teaching experience is recommended. * GEM Star coaches work with male and female athletes ages 6 and up! These are high energy classes focusing on fun and learning! Skill demonstration and spotting are required. * Team coaches must have previous gymnastics and/or coaching experience. We have both a men's and women's competitive program and are always accepting applications for compulsory and optional level coaches who are interested in joining our team and having a positive impact on the lives of athletes. OFFICE POSITIONS: * Front Desk staff must have outstanding personal skills and be a master at customer service along with basic computer knowledge. Answering phones, scheduling classes, and taking payments are all a part of this very busy and challenging position. * Cleaning staff must be available to clean around the gym schedule. The entire gym is cleaned everyday with focus on the common areas, lobby, spectator areas, and bathrooms.
