Purchasing CoordinatorThe purchasing coordinator is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment and services required for company operations. This role ensures timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with company policies while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Your contributions will help uphold our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesSource and evaluate vendors for quality, pricing and reliabilityNegotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedules with suppliersIssue purchase order and ensure accuracy of quantities, pricing, avail, and terms.Track orders and follow up on backorder, delay and discrepancies.Maintain documentation of ordersCoordinate with accounting and operational teams, update necessary team with delays.Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to avoid shortages or excess stockResolve vendor issues related to pricing, quantity, and delivery.Inventory reportingInventory managementQuarterly reports on inventory controlOver and shortages on inventory counts monthly basis.QualificationsProficiency in ERP systems2+ years of purchasing or procurement within the industrial equipment or supply chain industry.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively across departments.Knowledge of supply chain management principles.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExperience with inventory control a plus
