Location Chicago – Northwest Job Summary The Finance Manager must be a self-motivated individual who will be responsible for managing a $37M+ budget for a not-for-profit corporation on the city’s northwest side. The Finance Manager will work closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors in managing all aspects of the organization’s finances. Essential Job Functions Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Cash Management Account Reconciliations Monthly Closing Maintain filing system Compile monthly financial statements Compile monthly management reports Create and manage fiscal budget Monthly variance analysis Ensure accounting is completed in accordance with GAAP and FASB regulations Work with outside auditors in preparation for annual audit Work with tax accountant in preparation of tax returns Prepare and communicate financial information to Board of Directors Compile Annual Report Skills, Education, And Experience Bachelor’s Degree Accounting or Finance with a minimum 3 years experience in related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is required Experience with Sage/Peachtree accounting software preferred Candidate must have a valid drivers license, not have any felony convictions and be able to pass FBI and DHS federal background screening Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Work Location In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
