Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX is $90K - $95K/year & benefits (see below). Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Production Support / Application Support Analyst with strong experience in SQL query writing, optimization, and debugging. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on exposure to batch scheduling tools, log analysis, and basic programming knowledge in Python or Java to support troubleshooting and operational tasks. Key Responsibilities Write, analyze, and optimize SQL queries for data validation, issue investigation, and performance improvement. Monitor and manage batch processes using scheduling tools such as Autosys and Procmon . Investigate and resolve production issues through log analysis, code debugging, and root cause identification . Support application health monitoring and ensure smooth execution of scheduled jobs and workflows. Collaborate with development, database, and business teams to troubleshoot incidents and provide timely resolutions. Analyze system behavior and recommend improvements for operational efficiency and stability. Provide support for incident management, problem resolution, and routine maintenance activities. Required Skills Strong experience in SQL query writing , including query optimization and performance tuning . Experience with batch scheduling tools such as Autosys, Procmon , or similar tools. Good understanding of logs analysis and code debugging . Exposure to one programming language such as Python or Java (hands‑on development expertise is not mandatory). Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a production support / application support environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in production support, application support, or operations support roles. Familiarity with incident management and troubleshooting processes. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle critical production issues.
