Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in King Of Prussia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.36 / Hour Proof of HS Diploma/GED : I have obtained my [High School Diploma/GED] and can provide documentation upon request. Access Control/Badge Experience : I have hands-on experience managing access control systems and issuing badges, ensuring a secure environment for both staff and visitors. Alarm Panel Experience : I am familiar with various alarm panel systems and have successfully responded to alarms and emergencies in previous roles. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet : I am proficient in using computers and tablets for various tasks, including monitoring security systems and maintaining logs. CPR Certification : I hold a current CPR certification, which equips me to respond effectively in emergency situations. Customer Service Experience : My background in customer service has honed my communication skills and ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy. Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping maintain authorized entry and accurate visitor documentation. Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant security-related information to site leadership and incoming personnel. Minimum Requirements: Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
