Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator

Preform Solutions, Inc. is a well-established manufacturer of custom plastics serving the packaging industry for over 25 years in Sioux Falls. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator to join our team. As part of our Shipping and Receiving team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of products within our facility and to our offsite warehouse. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Shipping Lead to prioritize and coordinate truck loading schedules Verify products and quantities against purchase orders before loading Scan boxes in and out of inventory using company-provided mobile technology for accurate tracking Complete all required shipping and receiving paperwork accurately Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently Transport boxes and materials between the main facility and offsite warehouse as needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications Valid driver's license Experience in warehousing, production, material handling, or shipping/receiving preferred Previous sit-down forklift experience required Ability to climb on and off forklift steps frequently throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance Comfortable using mobile phone technology for inventory tracking Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to good attendance Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment Compensation $23.00 per hour starting rate. Overtime may be available depending on workload.
