Your store serves as a hub of environmental activism, sport, and positive vibes. You act as an ambassador for Patagonia in the local community and network across stores and channels to support retail success. You ensure best‑in‑class customer service, consistent with Patagonia’s core values, and inspire your team to live the mission. Job Specifications Starting wage: $25.00 – $28.58 per hour Employment type: Summer seasonal 2026 Shift type: Part‑time, hours available Minimum age: 18 years Housing availability: No Activism / Social Media Focus Summary As the Retail Activism Team Leader, you lead the activism programming for the store, setting a tone of environmentalism and social justice among employees. Contribute to a welcoming store energy that invites diverse ideas. Lead engagement and education for the staff. Promote and oversee activism hours, ensuring training and ongoing engagement. Retail Marketing Leadership As the Retail Marketing Team Leader, you plan and execute events, social media, and local email marketing, encouraging team ideas and brand campaign education. Plan and execute diverse events. Encourage new ideas from all employees. Collaborate with Retail Team Leader partners to educate staff on brand campaigns. Job Responsibilities Customer Service Innovation Empower staff to deliver outstanding service through personal example and encouragement. Provide proactive coaching to elevate customer service. Business Minded Collaborate with the Store General Manager to meet expense and profit goals. Maintain strong visual merchandising, cleanliness, and maintenance. Job Requirements Proven service experience, thriving in team‑based atmosphere. Passion for communities, environment, and caring for others. Experience leading in ambiguous environments, demonstrating judgment and creativity. History of building relationships and a customer‑centered approach. Experience managing a team and developing employees. Highly developed emotional intelligence. Sound judgment calls and manage operations independently of the General Manager. Flexible with competing priorities and fast‑paced retail environment. Interest in strategic business planning for local community. High School Diploma or GED; business training preferred. 1‑3 years retail supervisor experience (ski industry preferred). Ability to multitask and manage customers.
