Facility ManagerLocation: Huntingdon, PA Schedule: Monday-FridayD.C. Goodman & Sons is a commercial mechanical contractor based at 326 Penn St, with our own shop, warehouse, and fabrication space. We're hiring a Facility Manager to oversee the upkeep of our own operational facility and fleet — not client job sites. This role heavily involves organization and inventory management, alongside hands-on facilities and handyman work. We're looking for someone with broad, hands-on facilities experience who's ready to lead maintenance operations, and keep our shop and warehouse organized.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee upkeep of the shop, warehouse, and building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural)Organize and maintain the shop and warehouse — determining what needs to be kept, stored, or discardedApply 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain an organized, efficient shop and warehouseManage inventory of tools, parts, equipment, and consumables, including tracking usage and reordering as neededHandle general handyman repairs — painting, basic fixes, flat tires, and other day-to-day maintenance needsPerform light cleaning and upkeep of shop and warehouse spacesManage preventive maintenance schedules for facility equipment and the company vehicle/service fleetIdentify and coordinate with the right vendors for outside services (waste removal, landscaping, pest control, etc.)Budget for facility repairs, capital equipment, and maintenance contractsRespond to emergency facility issues (outages, HVAC failures, leaks)Oversee building security, alarms, and access systemsQualificationsRequired:5-8+ years hands-on facility/trades experienceStrong organizational skills, with sound judgment on what materials/equipment to keep vs. discardInventory/parts management experience — comfortable tracking, organizing, and maintaining accurate stockGeneral working knowledge across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systemsGeneral handyman skills (painting, basic repairs, tire changes, etc.)Valid driver's licensePreferred:Fleet/vehicle maintenance scheduling experienceExperience with 5S methodology for workplace organization (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)Lean Six Sigma certification (White Belt, Yellow Belt, or higher) or familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma process improvement principles
