A full-time Staff Pharmacist opportunity is available in Somers Point, NJ, offering a dynamic rotating schedule designed to deliver excellent pharmacy services to the community. This contract role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with strong clinical skills and a dedication to patient care in a retail setting.
Location: Somers Point, NJ
Position Type: Contract, Full-Time
Schedule:
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday: Off
- Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Thursday: Rotating on/off
- Friday: Rotating opening or closing shift
- Saturday: Every other Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and ensure patient safety
- Provide comprehensive patient counseling and medication education
- Administer immunizations in accordance with NJ regulations
- Oversee pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies and state regulations
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active New Jersey Pharmacist License in good standing
- Certified Immunizer (required)
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends
