Litigation Partner with a Portable Book ($500k+) Established, growth-oriented firm where litigators can actually build. Compensation Salary range: $200,000 – $300,000 per year. Compensation range is estimated and depends on level and portable business. Job Details We are seeking a dynamic, seasoned Litigation Partner to join our esteemed firm. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and handle complex legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a broad background in various areas of law, including employment law, land use/zoning, education law, cannabis law, corporate & business litigation, government‑related litigation, commercial litigation, and business litigation. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the legal industry, a strong track record of success, and a passion for delivering high‑quality legal services. Responsibilities Managing a diverse portfolio of litigation matters, including employment disputes, land use/zoning issues, education law matters, cannabis law issues, corporate & business litigation, government‑related litigation, commercial litigation, and business litigation. Representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings. Providing sound legal advice on complex legal matters and potential litigation risks. Developing and implementing effective litigation strategies. Collaborating with other partners, associates, and support staff. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Keeping abreast of developments in the law and sharing knowledge. Participating in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the firm’s client base. Qualifications J.D. degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar. 8+ years of experience in litigation, focusing on the areas listed above. Proven track record of success in litigation, including trial experience. Excellent research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Strong client‑service orientation and relationship‑building ability. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
