Our people at JLL are shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world class services, advisory and technology for our clients. We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong. Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward. About JLL We’re JLL, a leading professional services and investment management firm specializing in real estate. We shape the future of real estate for a better world by using the most advanced technology to create rewarding opportunities, amazing spaces and sustainable real estate solutions for our clients, our people, and our communities. As a Fortune 200 company, we help real estate owners, occupiers and investors achieve their business ambitions. We have operations in over 80 countries and a global workforce of over 115,000 individuals. We believe a diverse and inclusive culture is one where everyone succeeds. That’s why we’re committed to creating an environment where we all feel welcomed, valued, and empowered to achieve our full potential. JLL has launched Accelerate, its 2030 strategy, a bold, company‑wide commitment to transforming how we operate, compete, and grow. This is not incremental change. It is a fundamental reimagining of JLL. The Opportunity The Executive Director, Reward Partner—Real Estate Management Services (REMS) reports to and partners closely with the Global Head of Total Rewards and is a key member of the Total Rewards (TR) Leadership Team. This senior leader is accountable for shaping and delivering the integrated Reward agenda for REMS. In this role, you will align REMS’s business and workforce priorities with JLL’s global Reward strategy and appropriate country‑level approaches. Operating as a strategic advisor to REMS leadership, HR Directors (HRDs), and HR Business Partners (HRBPs), you will bring deep Reward expertise, external market perspective, and data‑driven insight to business and workforce decisions. You will draw upon specialist capabilities across the broader Total Rewards Center of Excellence (CoE)—including compensation and incentives, equity, benefits, governance, regulatory expertise, analytics, and operations—to develop and deliver integrated solutions for the business. What You’ll Own Shape and deliver the integrated Reward agenda for REMS, translating the business’s strategy, workforce priorities, and needs into Reward solutions aligned with JLL’s global Reward strategy. Partner with Compensation and other specialist teams to ensure JLL’s job architecture, market pricing, salary structures, and Reward frameworks effectively support REMS’s business and workforce requirements. Partner with REMS HR leadership and the relevant Total Rewards specialists to ensure Reward programs are effectively implemented, communicated, and understood across the business. Monitor external trends and benchmarks. Use data and competitive intelligence to identify emerging Reward and workforce risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate responses. Bring the REMS business perspective into the design and evolution of JLL’s compensation and incentive programs, including sales compensation and commission plans, as well as benefits, equity, and other Reward programs, partnering with the relevant specialists to ensure solutions are competitive, equitable, and effectively applied. Lead the business‑facing strategy for annual compensation and incentive cycles, including year‑end compensation planning, partnering with HR, Finance, specialist Reward teams and the Compensation Knowledge Center to ensure effective planning, governance and execution. Lead and develop the REMS Reward Partner team, building strong business partnership capability across regions and ensuring effective coordination and consistency across the global REMS organization. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure Reward programs and solutions are effectively integrated with JLL’s performance, talent, and workforce processes. Develop deep relationships with REMS business leaders, HRDs, HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and other key stakeholders, acting as a trusted Reward advisor on how Reward can support business performance and JLL’s ability to attract, retain, and motivate talent. Champion the use of a data‑driven approach, using analytics and insights to inform business decisions and raise the profile, visibility, and effectiveness of the Total Rewards team. Partner with the Global Benefits organization to identify REMS‑specific needs, competitive issues, and priorities, ensuring the business perspective informs benefits strategy and solutions. Contribute as a member of the Total Rewards Leadership Team to JLL’s global Reward strategy, priorities, and operating effectiveness, bringing the REMS perspective while acting in the best interests of JLL as a whole. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a proven Rewards leader with broad Total Rewards expertise and deep compensation experience within a multibillion‑dollar global public company. You possess a career defined by a keen understanding of the competitive workforce and Reward environment, alongside deep knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and market trends. You have a collaborative leadership style that uses outstanding influencing and consulting skills to achieve results across the matrix. A hands‑on leader, you are comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving continuous learning, and building strong, trusting relationships across a global business. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; master’s degree or MBA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive Total Rewards experience, including significant compensation experience and at least 5 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated experience leading Reward across multiple regions in a large, complex global business. Relevant experience across Total Rewards, with particular depth in broad‑based and executive compensation, annual incentive programs, and sales compensation and commission plans, together with a strong understanding of benefits and other Reward programs. Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand business economics and translate them into effective Reward and incentive solutions. Superior executive presence with the ability and credibility to present ideas and recommendations at all levels within the organization. Strong business partner who can deftly articulate Total Rewards programs and strategies to business leaders and connect them to business outcomes. Someone who always thinks about business first. Grasps complexities and connections among problems or issues, able to prioritize elements that will most drive success. Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to identify trends, market gaps, opportunities, and risks across Total Rewards and translate analytics into a compelling story for the business. Exceptional business knowledge, general management, and leadership capability. Executing for Results The ability to set clear and challenging goals while committing JLL to improved performance; tenacious and accountable in driving results. Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; ability to adapt and lead through complex situations. A leader who seeks data and input from others to foresee possible threats or unintended consequences of decisions; someone who takes smart risks. A leader who is viewed by others as having a high degree of integrity and forethought in their approach to making decisions; the ability to act in a transparent and consistent manner while always considering what is best for JLL. Exhibits strong resiliency and humility. Enjoys relationship building and stakeholder management. Leading Teams The ability to attract and recruit top talent, motivate the team, delegate effectively, build an inclusive team, and manage performance; widely viewed as a strong developer of others. The ability to persevere in the face of challenges and exhibit a steadfast resolve and relentless commitment to higher standards, which commands respect from followers. A leader who is self‑reflective and aware of their own limitations; leads by example and drives the organization’s performance with an attitude of continuous improvement by being open to feedback and self‑improvement. Relationships and Influence Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. An ability to inspire trust and followership in others through compelling influence, credibility, conviction, and active drive. Encourages others to share the spotlight; celebrates and supports the success of the team. Why This Role, Why Now JLL’s Accelerate strategy is setting the direction for the next five years. The decisions being made right now will shape the company much longer than that.
