Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, conducting physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in identifying and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide vital intraoperative support, including preparing surgical settings, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, and facilitating instrument hand-off during operations
• Deliver exemplary pre- and post-operative care, addressing medication needs, managing wound care, planning for discharge, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical specialties preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) for Physician Assistant practice
