Territory Sales Representative – Market-Leading Infrastructure Equipment

Territory: San Antonio Region
Business Unit: Joe Johnson Equipment, operating as Kinloch Equipment & Supply

About the Role

The Territory Sales Representative drives growth across a well‑established region by promoting our heavy vocational trucks and equipment. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, delivering product demonstrations, and providing equipment solutions through regular travel and in‑person engagement.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for all sales activities (full cycle) within assigned territory with a focus on increasing sales year over year in alignment with established targets
• Collaborate and work effectively with the Inside Sales team for administrative and customer support
• Collaborate with the service and parts teams to provide exceptional customer experience
• Effectively manage current customer accounts
• Prospect, build and maintain new customer relationships throughout the territory
• Provide demonstrations and training as required to effectively represent the product lines represented within the territory
• Attend industry events, training or tradeshows to ensure up-to-date knowledge on our products and to represent the company in the industry
• Prepare forecasts and reports related to assigned territory
• Utilize CRM to capture customer and sales data as required by internal processes
• Complete additional requirements as assigned in support of business goals

Position Details

Territory: San Antonio Region

Status: Permanent

Travel: Field Role – daily travel within assigned territory

What You Bring

• Proactive and quick to turn ideas into execution
• Exceptional sales and customer service skills
• Ability to plan and execute work independently
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work well with individuals within and outside of the organization
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Proficient computer skills including a CRM
• Strong prospecting and hunter skills
• Ability to travel and work within a flexible schedule as required

Additional Requirements:

• Valid Drivers’ Licence with a clean drivers record
• Ability and willingness to obtain a Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check in accordance with applicable laws

Work Environment

• Primarily customer premises – shop, office, yard environments
