This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the United States. You will be integrated into a dynamic outpatient office setting, participating in collaborative care with a team of mental health professionals including clinical supervisors and coaches who are invested in your success. Key Responsibilities\n

• Effectively deliver remote psychotherapy using an 8-week, evidence-based program tailored to individual client needs.

• Regularly monitor participant progress, providing necessary follow-up communications alongside care coordination recommendations, while ensuring accurate and timely documentation of session notes.

• Collaborate actively with the care team, assisting clients with resource accessibility, and overseeing consent and authorization processes.

• Identify high-risk scenarios, escalating safety concerns in accordance with established protocols, to ensure the well-being of every participant.

• Engage in regular supervision meetings and monthly team discussions to enhance clinical skills and align practice with organizational goals.

• Uphold strict confidentiality standards as outlined by HIPAA, ensuring compliance with annual training requirements, promoting a culture of trust and safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor, you will provide exceptional care to a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, and interpersonal conflicts. This role requires a focus on developing actionable strategies to empower participants toward creating healthy, long-lasting habits aligned with their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold one of the following: a current License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• Ability and willingness to maintain a consistent schedule to effectively accommodate the needs of clients.

• Clinical experience with psychotherapy techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other solution-focused methodologies is essential.

• A demonstrated passion for positively influencing lives and improving the landscape of behavioral health care.

• Compliance with UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy is mandatory for remote employment.

• Successful candidates will undergo a drug screening prior to employment, as we maintain a drug-free workplace.

Preferred Experience\n

Prior experience in an outpatient setting with a focus on evidence-based therapeutic modalities is highly advantageous. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience in collaborating within multidisciplinary teams will enhance your ability to thrive in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000, depending on experience and hours worked.
